Office for Zero Emission Vehicles simplifies grant application process

📢 Great news for all our customers applying for the Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant for Households with On-Street Parking 📢

This week the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles have simplified the application process.

This includes changes to the permissions applicants need to evidence in their application. Applicants will still need to upload highways authority permission for a cross-pavement solution, however they will need to agree to a Declaration that they will obtain necessary planning permissions rather evidencing them in their application.

This will make the grant process more flexible and enable more of the 25% of UK homes with on-street parking to be eligible for the grant.

The Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant provides residents a grant of up to £350 when installing a home charger together with a cross-pavement solution like a Charge Gully channel. The grant is available throughout the UK.
